Brisbane traffic: Woman dies, highway closed in head-on collision
A woman has died after a head-on collision that closed a highway northwest of Brisbane.

A woman has died and the D’Aguilar Highway northwest of Brisbane was closed in both directions after a head-on traffic crash.
The two-vehicle collision happened at Bracalba, near Mylett Rd, about 10.50am today.
The woman was treated by critical-care paramedics and a rescue helicopter was dispatched, but she died at the scene.
Two people in a stable condition were taken to Caboolture Hospital.

One person had to be cut free from the vehicle with hydraulic equipment.
The Forensic Crash Unit was en route to the scene.
Motorists were being advised to avoid the area.
