Brazen teen allegedly stole drugs from chemist twice in one week
A Gold Coast teenager has been charged after police allege he broke into a chemist, smashing the glass doors and taking prescription medication twice in two days.

A brazen Gold Coast teen has been charged by police after it’s alleged he broke into the same chemist to allegedly steal drugs twice in the same week.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested by police after two break and enters of the same Upper Coomera pharmacy were reported to police within two days.
The incidents are alleged to have happened in the early hours of September 15 and September 16.
According to police, the front glass doors of the Brygon Dve chemist were allegedly smashed with a piece of wood on the first alleged break in, while a brick was used to smash the doors on the second alleged break in.
The teen also allegedly stole a quantity of prescription drugs.
Police located the teen at an Upper Coomera home following a search warrant.
The 17-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of enter premises and one count of possess utensil.
