Two men have been charged after allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old leaving him with a significant head injury in Brisbane overnight.
Emergency services were called to Marshall St, Fortitude Valley at 10.26pm on Saturday night to reports of a fight.
A 22-year-old man from Woolloongabba was allegedly assaulted and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with a significant head injury.
A 29-year-old man from Gatton and a 24-year-old man from Zilmere were both charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
The men are expected to front Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 19.
