A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed a woman at an apartment complex in Fortitude Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Warry Street address about 1:30pm following reports of a woman being stabbed.
A 59-year-old woman was found with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The man, a 56-year-old, was arrested a short distance away and has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 28.
