Jade Brenda Laing charged in relation to alleged murder of Dylan McPadden outside Robina tavern
The identity of a woman charged as an accessory two months after the alleged murder of a 26-year-old man outside a Gold Coast Tavern has been revealed.

A woman charged in relation to the alleged murder of a 26-year-old man outside a Gold Coast Tavern drove his alleged attacker from scene a court has been told.
Jade Brenda Laing has been charged with accessory to murder over the death of Robina man Dylan McPadden after he was allegedly stabbed outside RQ’s Tavern on Markeri St on August 17.
Detectives allege Mr McPadden was enjoying drinks with friends at an outdoor smoking area when a man and a woman arrived and an argument began “almost directly”.
Police will allege Mr McPadden was stabbed during the incident.
Tyler Hailes, 26, was arrested at a Mermaid Beach motel in the early hours of the following morning and charged with one count of murder.
On Tuesday his co-accused, Laing, faced Southport Magistrates Court where it was heard the pair have a six-month-old daughter together.
It’s alleged the Southport woman drove the car the pair left in on the night of the alleged murder.
She was granted bail and the matter was adjourned to reappear at a later date.
