Shocking vision has emerged online of a stabbing incident that left a 16-year-old boy fighting for life after a disturbance at a unit complex at Morayfield on Friday.
Emergency services were called to reports of an incident involving multiple people at Firetail Court, Morayfield, about 12.15am on July 13.
Vision of the incident has since surfaced online showing a group of people assaulting a 16-year-old boy, before he is stabbed, and falls to the ground.
While the brawl is unfolding, shouts of “Jesus Christ” and “What are you doing?” can be heard.
As a boy falls, an observer can be heard saying “No more, no more.”
After police arrived at the scene, a 16-year-old boy was located with stab wounds.
He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
A 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man also received non-life-threatening injuries.
The confronting vision shared online, attracted a host of comments, as people expressed their horror at the incident.
“What happened to parenting and discipline,” one person commented.
“May that boy get the justice he deserves,” another person commented.
“#BinTheBladeforBalin,” a separate person commented, referencing the anti-knife campaign launched by the Balin Stewart Foundation.
No one has been charged at this stage.
Investigations are ongoing and police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.
