An alleged Lone Wolf bikie has been extradited to Queensland accused of a violent home invasion, kidnapping and torture involving a Belgian model and her husband west of Brisbane.
Vincent Dean Cusumano was extradited to Queensland from NSW yesterday and charged with a string of offences by bikie busting taskforce Maxima including torture, kidnapping, extortion, administering poison, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery and enter dwelling.
Police will allege a group of Lone Wolf Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members and associates concealing their identities stormed the home of Belgian model Caroll Dufailly and her partner Eduardus Groenewegen in Ipswich in October 2019.
Police allege the group kidnapped the couple by force and Mr Groenewegen was viciously assaulted and left in bushland at Ripley.
Police allege they became aware of the incident when Ms Dufailly, who had zip ties on her wrists and duct tape on her face, attended a rural house seeking help for the man.
Police accuse Cusumano of torturing Mr Groenewegen, administering him toxic ammonia and causing him GBH.
He is also accused of impersonating a Queensland Police officer.
According to court documents the 24-year-old was a participant in a criminal organisation at the time.
He appeared briefly in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
There was no application for bail and the matter was adjourned to October 31.
A number of other people have also been charged over the matter.
