Two people have died after a single-vehicle crash into a tree in the Gympie region.
The crash involving a black SUV occurred on the Burnett Highway at Booubyjan about 5.30pm on Friday.
A QAS spokeswoman said two people were assessed for critical injuries but died at the scene.
Crash investigators are seeking footage of the car prior to the crash and have appealed to any witnesses to come forward.
