This latest closure of Queensland’s main highway follows two major incidents that shut the road in Central Queensland.
Three crashes involving multiple trucks and ambulances, which left a trail of carnage, closed nearly 100km of the highway late last month at Gindoran between Bundaberg and Gladstone.
