Three teenagers have been charged following the alleged serious assault of a 17-year-old boy south of Brisbane on Wednesday.
Emergency services were initially called to the intersection of Alamein Street and Savages Parade about 11pm, following reports of a male laying in the middle of the road.
Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old Beenleigh boy who had sustained serious injuries.
He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Following investigations by the Logan District Child Protection Investigation Unit police arrested three boys in the Beenleigh area on Friday, June 28.
A 16-year-old Eagleby boy and two 15-year-old Beenleigh boys have now been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
