Five businesses have been targeted by knife-wielding thieves in a crime spree south of Brisbane overnight.
Police said a group of people armed with knives broke into a business on Nottingham Rd at Calamvale around 4.30am, threatening a man before leaving with stolen personal items and a silver Honda Jazz.
Soon after, a group have attended three separate service stations at Middle Rd in Hillcrest, Green Rd and Chambers Flat Rd in Park Ridge.
Around 5.10am, a group broke into a business on Mount Warren Blvd at Mount Warren Park.
No one was injured.
Police are investigating the links between these offences.
Up to four stolen cars were believed to be involved, including a white Holden Captiva, a black Ford Ranger, a grey Audi and the silver Honda Jazz.
Police urge anyone with information that could assist investigations to contact them.
