The Gap stabbing: Man in hospital after suspected road rage incident at intersection
A manhunt is under way and a motorist is fighting for life after he was stabbed in a possible road rage incident at an intersection in Brisbane’s west overnight.
A man is fighting for life after he was stabbed in a possible road rage incident at an intersection in an affluent Brisbane Suburb.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Chaprowe Rd and Settlement Rd in The Gap at 7:30pm on Tuesday to reports a motorist – a man in his 40s – had received stab wounds to his arm and leg.
He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The other man drove away from the scene in a black Nissan X-Trail.
Police are investigating several lines of inquiry, including whether the incident was road rage, and are searching for the driver of the X-Trail.
