Terrifying carjacking as machete-wielding thieves target man in Bulimba

Police were on Sunday night hunting carjackers who took a vehicle from a man in Bulimba while armed with a machete and a shovel.
Officers responded to calls about 2pm that two armed males had stolen an Audi A3 from a property on Harrison St.
The report indicated they had approached the car and threatened the man inside, demanding that he get out of the vehicle.
The man complied with his armed assailants and was not physically injured.
The men took off with the Audi which was found by police a short time later abandoned on Elizabeth St at Stones Corner.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday night with an 18-year-old man arrested Thursday and both charged over the alleged carjacking.
