Teen trio arrested after posting on social media about alleged stolen vehicle

Three teens have been charged after a video was posted online allegedly showing a stolen Porsche doing burnouts as the youths bragged.

Police have charged three teens in relation to the alleged theft of a vehicle on the Gold Coast on Saturday.

It comes as social media vision has emerged of teens allegedly boasting about the alleged stolen vehicle.

A series of short videos uploaded to Instagram show the alleged offenders revving a vehicle before doing burnouts in a car park.

Police will allege that sometime between 2am and 7am, a 2022 grey Porsche Cayenne was stolen from a Clinton Ave address at Burleigh Waters during a burglary.

The vehicle was located at Residences Circuit, Pimpama on Saturday night at around 9.30pm.

Three youths were arrested on Monday afternoon following investigations into the alleged burglary.

A 13-year-old Durack boy has been charged with four counts of attempted enter premises, three counts each of enter premises and unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts of stealing and one count each of trespass and unlicensed driving.

He was scheduled to reappear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 24.

A 15-year-old Browns Plains girl has been charged with one count each of enter premises, attempted enter premises, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, trespass and stealing.

She is scheduled to reappear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 21.

A 13-year-old Pimpama boy has been charged with three counts each of enter premises, enter dwelling and face masked with intent to commit indictable offence, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of attempt enter premises, unlawful possession of stolen property.

He was scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on June 24.
