Teen trio charged over alleged joy ride in stolen Jaguar through the Gold Coast
Three teenagers have been charged with multiple offences after allegedly taking a stolen vehicle for a joy ride through the Gold Coast on Monday.

Three teenagers have been taken charged with multiple offences after allegedly taking a stolen vehicle for a joy ride through the Gold Coast on Monday.
At around 9am, a Jaguar SVR SUV was allegedly stolen from an Amazon Circuit address in Helensvale following a break-and-enter.
A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman said police used a tracking device to monitor the vehicle as it travelled from Coomera to Nerang.
“Police began monitoring the vehicle until it stopped at Tawarri Crescent in Burleigh Heads,” the spokeswoman said.
“Three teenage boys were armed with knives and confronted by police as they exited the vehicle, and all three fled the scene on foot.
“A short foot pursuit resulted in all three offenders being taken into custody.”
A 16-year-old Coomera boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 15-year-old Southport boy was charged with two counts of enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of enter premises with intent, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fraud (dishonestly make off without paying), driving without a licence and obstruct police officer.
A 15-year-old Riverview boy was charged with two counts of enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of enter premises and commit, enter premises with intent, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fraud (dishonestly make off without paying), and obstruct police officer.
All three are expected to appear in Southport Children’s Court today, October 29.
Investigations are continuing.
