A teenage e-scooter rider has sustained life-threatening injuries after a horror crash north of Brisbane.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the crash occurred on Buchanan Rd and Northerly Ave in Morayfield about 2.30pm when the rider, aged in their mid teens, fell from his scooter outside a private address.
“The teen has sustained facial injuries and was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a life-threatening condition,” a spokesman said.
“No reports of a car involved, just reports he has fallen from his e-scooter.”
The incident occurred just metres from Morayfield State High School, it is unknown if the teen was a student at the high school.
