Teen critical after being shot in the chest
Police are desperately trying to understand the circumstances behind how a teen was shot in the chest and left with critical injuries in an incident south of Brisbane.

A teen is in a critical condition after being shot in the chest south of Brisbane overnight.
The 17-year-old boy was taken to the Logan Hospital emergency department with a gunshot wound about 1.10am on Wednesday, before being transferred to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A spokeswoman from the PA hospital confirmed the teen remained in a “critical but stable condition in ICU”.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
“Police are still trying to figure out how and where the teen sustained the injury, whether it was misadventure, or whether someone else was involved,” a police spokesperson said.
