Teen arrested over alleged assault after fight over littering in South Brisbane
A 13-year-old has been charged after a man was injured during an altercation over littering outside an inner Brisbane McDonald’s late on Tuesday.

A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being assaulted by a teenager at a fast-food outlet in Brisbane.
Paramedics were called to an area outside McDonald’s on Grey St in South Brisbane about 10.35pm to reports a man had been injured in a brawl.
It’s understood a fight broke out between adults and a group of young people over littering.
Police will allege a 13-year-old assaulted one of the men by punching him in the face.
The man suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police attended the scene and took the 13-year-old into custody.
He has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
The boy will face Brisbane Children’s Court on January 10.
