Pythons stolen during Southport burglary

Gold Coast police are appealing for information after five pythons were stolen during a burglary at Southport.

Gold Coast police are appealing for information after five pythons were stolen during a burglary at Southport.

Sometime between 6am on September 9 and 5.45pm on September 10, a Cotlew St property was broken into after a rear sliding door was forced open, and five pythons were stolen.

Two are described as dark olive green and around three metres long.

Three are described as brown ‘Bredli’ pythons, ranging from approximately 1.8m to 2m long.

A UHF radio was also stolen during the burglary.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding this offence – or the location of the snakes – to come forward.
