The young stepdaughter of a woman killed in a tragic crash south of Gympie that has shocked the state has paid tribute to her stepmother, saying she would “always have a laugh and brighten any day”.
Jessica Townley, 38, was killed in the Bruce Hwy crash at Federal on Friday.
Another young mum, Gypsy Satterley, 25, and a 65-year-old man also died.
The sole survivor of the crash, Rafferty Rolfe, has been charged with stealing at knifepoint a car involved in the crash.
A GoFundMe has been created for Jessica Townley by close friend Kelly Goodwin to support the family during the tough time.
Stepdaughter, Montana, used the platform to share some beautiful words about her animal-loving stepmother.
She said Ms Townley was so special and meant so much to them.
“She was (our) rock,” she wrote.
“Jess was hard working and didn’t stop till the sun went down.
“She would always have a laugh and brighten any day.
The GoFundMe comes as other tributes pour in for Ms Townley, who was a well-known alpaca farmer.
“I’m so sorry Troy, Montana and TJ. Jess was so beautiful inside and out. We are all thinking about you at school and are here for support,” one woman wrote.
While Eagle End Farm said: “This week we lost a friend, she died in a tragic accident, an innocent driver on the high way. The alpaca community are helping the family as best we can.”
