Barry Kenneth Bloomfield escapes lawful custody at Rockhampton Hospital
A prisoner is currently on the run after escaping lawful custody at a central Queensland hospital.

Police have released CCTV images of the moment a 23-year-old male prisoner escaped from custody at Rockhampton Hospital on Saturday.
The images capture Barry Kenneth Bloomfield fleeing on foot wearing a green jumper, shorts, a bandage on his right hand and no shoes. He had removed his handcuffs.
Bloomfield escaped from the Canning St facility about 9.10am.
He is currently serving two years and six months for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Bloomfield is described as being 176cm tall with “scarring” on his left foot.
nvestigations and search efforts remain ongoing and police urgently appeal to anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Queensland Correct Services urge the public not to approach Bloomfield and contact police immediately by calling triple-0.
