A prison officer is under investigation over claims he looked up the address details of a former prison inmate and turned up to her home.
Queensland Corrective Services confirmed there was an investigation into claims the Escort and Security Services officer allegedly got the details of a former female inmate.
A rumour about the allegations was posted on the Last Governor Facebook page.
“Queensland Corrective Services can confirm the matter is being investigated,” a Queensland Corrective Services spokeswoman said when asked about the allegations.
“QCS expects the highest standards of ethical professional behaviour from our officers.”
