Video footage has emerged of a fiery road rage incident involving two men in Brisbane’s north with the incident under investigation.
The video, first obtained by Moreton City News and shared to social media, showed two men involved in an altercation at a busy intersection.
One of the men seen in the video appears to strike the other causing them to become involved in a wrestling match that attracted members of public to intervene.
Prior to public intervention, one of the men is seen being thrown to the ground.
The incident happened about 11.35am on Thursday, June 22, at North Lakes.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no charges had been laid but confirmed the incident was under investigation.
The spokeswoman said it would be alleged that a vehicle had been driven close to the motorbike rider forcing it to move across lanes.
She said there were “signals” exchanged between the motorists before it escalated at the intersection of North Lakes Dr and Anzac Ave about 11.35am.
It‘s the latest in a string of road rage incidents to plague Queensland roads including a chaotic fight at Rochedale South and a ramming incident at Browns Plains.
