Police investigate teen assault at Indooroopilly Train Station
The stepmother of a young boy injured in a “scary” attack by a gang of teenagers on scooters at Indooroopilly Train Station has issued a warning to other parents.

A 13-year-old boy has been assaulted by a group of teenagers at a busy Brisbane train station on Sunday.
The incident occurred about 1.30pm at the Indooroopilly Train Station, and involved a group of teenage boys.
His concerned stepmother posted on Facebook, warning other parents about the incident.
“Public service announcement – our Year 8 boy (my stepson) was assaulted by a gang of 7 youths on scooters (ages 12-15) this afternoon at Indooroopilly Train station,” she wrote in a private online forum.
“They tried to steal his phone and shoes.
“He was punched in the eye, and will have a horrific black eye.
“Tell your children to exercise extreme caution around the station. Very scary.”
Police are continuing their investigations, anyone with information is urged to contact them.
