Police are on the hunt for multiple offenders who rammed a car through the front of a Strathpine business and set it on fire.

Police were called to Habibi’s Convenience and Tobacco Store on Gympie Rd about 10pm following reports a white Nissan Navara dual-cab ute had driven into the bollards at the front of the shop.

Three offenders inside the car then set it on fire, before assaulting a 26-year-old Warner man who was nearby at the time.

Queensland Fire Department were able to put the car fire out by 10.25pm, preventing serious damage to the business.

The car was stolen from a Booval address between July 9 and 11.

The shop - which only opened a few weeks ago - suffered minor fire and smoke damage.

The offenders fled the scene and remain on the run.

The Warner man was taken to Prince Charles Hospital with minor facial injuries.

Strathpine resident Teneale Wells said she was driving home from work when she saw smoke and flames nearby.

“As I got closer to it, I saw the engulfed car and a group of people were standing near the coffee shop,” she said.

“Then police arrived and the fire truck came up behind me and a few minutes later another fire truck came from the other direction.

“But you could tell the car was rammed into the tobacco shop.”

At around 11am on Thursday morning, the Nissan Nevada was towed from the crime.

Police have established a crime scene and investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
