Off-duty cop allegedly stabbed in violent home invasion
An off-duty senior constable has been stabbed in his own home in the Moreton Bay region by a gang of burglars in the middle of the night.

A gang of burglars have stabbed a senior constable after breaking into his home in Moreton Bay.
At around 12:30am Tuesday, four unidentified people forced their way into the Strathpine family home, allegedly armed with a firearm and knife.
It is understood that the 38-year-old officer was then stabbed in the arm before the group fled in a car that they later torched.
Investigations are continuing, with police urging anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police.
7News reported that the wife and children were left unarmed, with the officer recovering from home after receiving stitches in hospital.
