Missing woman spotted 800km from where she was last seen
A woman reported missing on Friday has been seen nearly 800km away near Charters Towers, and is believed to have abandoned her car at the side of a major outback highway.

A missing Queensland woman who was spotted in remote outback Queensland a day after she was reported missing just under 800km away has been found.
Police say Lisa Ruge, 49, was reported missing from the Rockhampton area on Friday, but on Saturday spoke to a number of people 780km away in Campaspe, about 130km south of Charters Towers.
The locals she spoke to then contacted police to report their sightings. Police confirmed late Sunday morning that she had been found
