Manhunt underway after man flees stolen car in Ellen Grove

A manhunt is underway after police intercepted someone in a stolen car who then fled on foot in a suburb west of Brisbane.

A manhunt is underway after police intercepted someone in a stolen car who then fled on foot in a suburb west of Brisbane.

Police intercepted the stolen car on Pauline Ave at Ellen Grove about 11.55am.

The driver of the stolen grey vehicle attempted to ram a police car after the vehicle was parked in.

When that was unsuccessful the male offender ran off on foot.

It is understood the man is running around with no shirt on.

Police are trying to locate the man.
