Man taken to hospital with gunshot wound in Moreton Bay

Police have appealed for information from the public after a man was shot in the stomach north of Brisbane.

A man has been shot in the Moreton Bay region north of Brisbane this afternoon.

The incident happened in Centenary Court, Warner, just after 4pm. Witnesses saw a vehicle leaving the area after the shooting.

Police later located a man in his 20s with an abdominal wound at a medical centre in Samsonvale Rd.

He was taken to hospital for further treatment where he remains in a serous but stable condition.
A crime scene was declared but police did not have concerns for the broader community.
