Man taken to hospital after being stabbed in neck

A man has been hospitalised after he was stabbed in the neck at a home in Brisbane’s southeast overnight. It comes as two other people were also stabbed in separate incidents.

A man has been hospitalised after he was stabbed in the neck southeast of Brisbane overnight.

Police were called to a private address on Vienna Road, Alexandra Hills at 8.30pm where a man had suffered injuries after an altercation with another person.

Paramedics treated the man for neck and chest injuries before he was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established overnight.

In a separate incident, a man sustained wounds to his face after an alleged wounding in Beerwah.

Paramedics attended Beerwah Parade at 1.20am before transporting the man, aged in his 20s, to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

On the Gold Coast, a man was rushed to hospital after he suffered abdominal injuries in an altercation in the Broadbeach mall.

He was hospitalised in a stable condition.
