A man has been charged following an apparent road rage incident at Ipswich, as police appeal for any witnesses to come forward.

A man has been charged following an apparent road rage incident at Ipswich, as police appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
Police allege a red Mazda 3 and a white MG were involved in a crash at the intersection of Brisbane Rd and Jordan St at around 7pm on Wednesday, December 4.
In the immediate aftermath of the crash, police allege the occupants from the two vehicles were then involved in an altercation.
Following initial investigations by police. a 24-year-old Ebbw Vale man has since been charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle and one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, fail to comply with duties of a driver involved in a crash, and driving without a driver’s licence.
He appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 5 and was refused bail.
He is expected to reappear in Ipswich Magistrates Court again on January 9, 2025.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the motorbike prior to the crash to come forward.Witnesses or those with relevant dashcam footage were asked to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
