A man has been seriously injured after he was allegedly stabbed in the early hours of Christmas morning.
Police were called to Bolsover Street at Rockhampton about 1am after reports of a wounding incident.
Initial police investigations suggest the two men had been involved in a physical altercation resulting with a 34-year-old man getting stab wounds to his legs.
He was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious condition. Police believe the two men were known to each other.
No one has been charged as of yet, but investigations are ongoing.
