Police are investigating after a man was shot at a property in Brisbane’s south in the early hours of this morning.

Police are investigating after a man was shot in the foot at Stretton, in Brisbane’s south, early this morning.
Officers were called to a Jefferson Place property about 1.20am to reports the 55-year-old man had been injured.
Early investigations indicate a number of people had been at the property when an altercation took place and the man was shot in his left foot, with those involved leaving in a dark-coloured vehicle.
The man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Upper Mount Gravatt & Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch detectives have launched an investigation and appeal for anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time to contact police.
