Man on run after stabbing at Pine Road at Richlands

A manhunt is underway after a man sustained multiple wounds in a stabbing following a fight at an address in Brisbane’s western suburbs.

A man is on the run after he allegedly stabbed another man in a western Brisbane suburb.

Emergency services were called to Pine Road at Richlands about 8.12pm after reports of a stabbing.

A 30-year-old man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with wounds to his arm, leg and hand.

Police allege there was a fight between the 30-year-old man and a 44-year-old, during which the 30-year-old sustained stab wounds.

The 40-year-old man fled the scene before police arrived.

It is believed both parties are known to each other and there are no ongoing threats to the public.

Investigations remain ongoing. Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to contact them.
