A man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the abdomen, chest and arm at a home north of Brisbane.

A man has been charged with attempted murder over the alleged stabbing of a man at a home north of Brisbane on Tuesday evening.
According to police, an argument occurred between a small group of people, all known to each other, at a home in Margate.
Police will allege that a man then followed another man to a nearby Carnarvon Crt home, before stabbing the 30-year-old Rothwell man multiple times in the abdomen, chest and left forearm.
Police have confirmed a 42-year-old man from North Booval has been charged with attempted murder and will face Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
Emergency services, including the Queensland Ambulance Service Medical Director, arrived at the home in Margate about 8.30pm Tuesday.
Critical care paramedics, along with police attended the home where they found the man in a critical condition. He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
