A man has been charged with assault over the attack on notorious former Nomads bikie Moudi Tajjour at a Gold Coast Bunnings car park last weekend.
It comes after video footage showing four people bashing Mr Tajjour emerged on Saturday.
Police say at 12.45pm Saturday they were called to a car park on Pappas Way, Nerang where they found Mr Tajjour, 38, of Coomera, with head injuries.
He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives have arrested a 31-year-old man at a Park Ridge address and charged him in connection to the beating.
He was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm in company and possession of a dangerous drug and will appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Mr Tajjour has since addressed his social media followers, declaring that he’s “no longer retired,” and will seek revenge for the attack.
Police are appealing to anyone with information or relevant footage that could assist investigations to contact them urgently.
Investigations remain ongoing.
