Man arrested after alleged car ramming, machete threat
A man has allegedly gone on a rampage in Brisbane’s south, ramming multiple cars before brandishing a machete at a woman.

A man allegedly threatened a woman with a machete after he smashed into multiple cars during an early afternoon crime spree in Brisbane’s south today.
The man was taken into custody after police raced to the scene at Tarragindi about 12.45pm.
According to a police spokesman, officers arrested a man on Orford St after he reportedly rammed other vehicles before wielding a machete at a woman.
The victim detailed the terrifying event on social media.
“(A) guy crashed into cars...” the woman wrote.
“What is going on?”
The woman praised the staff at nearby Umu Kitchen for their support.
“I’ll be back with my family in person and buy a cuppa,” she wrote.
“I’m very grateful also to the swift action of police.”
