Two teens have been charged after a man was assaulted during a violent armed home invasion in Brisbane’s south and a string of other break-ins across seven different suburbs.

Two teenagers have been charged after a man was assaulted during a violent armed home invasion in Brisbane’s south and a string of other break-ins across seven different suburbs.
Emergency services were called to an address at Morningside at 2.40am on March 20 after reports a group had broken into the home while armed with a knife, threatening a resident and demanding keys.
A fight broke out and the 50-year-old resident was allegedly assaulted and left with cuts to his face.
Property including electronics were allegedly stolen from the address.
Police believe the group left the scene in a black sedan that was reported stolen from a Cannon Hill home on March 19.
Police allege the offenders are linked to a number of property offences between March 18 to March 24 at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Carindale, Cannon Hill, Greenslopes, East Brisbane, Richlands, and Murarrie.
Police tracked a stolen car on March 24 to a Eugenia Avenue address at Deception Bay.
Footage released by police shows two of the alleged offenders being located at the house after a search.
Dutton Park CIB Officer in Charge, Detective Senior Sergeant Benjamin Henderson said detectives worked tirelessly to ensure justice for the victims.
“Every available resource had been directed towards locating those allegedly involved in these serious offences,” Detective Henderson said.
“We were determined to restore the victim’s feeling of security and send a clear message to any offender that they will be held to account for their crimes.
A 15-year-old Inala boy was charged with 17 offences including four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of attempted enter, attempted enter with intent, and stealing, and one count each of burglary, enter dwelling and commit indictable offence, grievous bodily harm, enter dwelling with intent, and attempted fraud.
His bail was refused, and he is expected to appear in the Caboolture Children’s Court on Tuesday.
A 14-year-old Cannon Hill boy was charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle while in company.
His bail was refused, and he appeared in the Caboolture Children’s Court on March 24.
