Three charged over Redbank Plains stabbing attack

Police have charged three men over a wild Redbank Plains altercation that left all three with injuries.
Emergency services were called out to the corner of Mount Juillerat Drv and School Rd just before 5pm following reports of a serious altercation, just metres away from a busy shopping precinct.
Police allege two 22-year-old men stole a pair of scissors from a nearby supermarket before confronting a 33-year-old man. All men were known to each other.
One of the 22-year-old men was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious stab wounds to his leg.
The other 22-year-old man was injured in the shoulder, while the 33-year-old man had facial injuries. Both these men were taken to Ipswich Hospital.
In a statement on Saturday morning, police said the 33-year-old Redbank Plains man was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and affray, while both 22-year-old men, who are also from Redbank Plains, were each charged with stealing and affray.
