Horrifying Ipswich road rage attack caught on camera

The terrifying moment a rage-filled man attacked a female motorist’s vehicle with a large tool has been captured on camera but, unfortunately for him, so was the incident that led up to it.

A terrifying road rage incident has been captured on camera, showing the heart-stopping moment a man attacks a driver’s car with a large spanner.

The shocking attack, in Ipswich, was caught on a rear facing DashCam and posted online by Facebook page Dash Cam Owners Australia.

The footage shows a man in a dark coloured ute very closely following a woman driving a white ute.

As the woman safely slows to turn onto the intersection at Burnett and Darling streets, the dark ute is forced to slam on the breaks.

Seconds later, a man brandishing a spanner gets out of the rear vehicle and attacks the woman’s window with the make-shift weapon.

He returned to his car where it’s believed he immediately drove away.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon.

Police say they’re investigating however no charges have yet been laid.
