A police operation targeting drug trafficking in the North and South Burnett regions led to the discovery of one man’s meth dealing.

Mundubbera’s Harley John Bray, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of supplying dangerous drugs when he faced Maryborough District Court.

The court heard his offending was uncovered as part of Operation Konopoie.
According to court documents, Bray was suspected of being involved in the supply of dangerous drugs, along with numerous other people.
On June 19, 2021, police stopped a vehicle being driven by a woman suspected of being a drug dealer.
As part of the investigation, her phone was analysed and it revealed drug related communication between her and Bray, the documents read.
Then on November 2, 2021, police executed a search warrant and examined Bray’s phone.
One of the messages was regarding the sale of a gram of meth.
According to court documents, the man met with the woman and supplied the drugs for $600.
Bray was sentenced six months in prison, wholly suspended for 18 months.
A conviction was recorded.
