Ferrari, luxury cars stolen from same waterfront house overnight

Hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of luxury cars have been stolen from a waterfront Gold Coast home as the owner slept inside.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of luxury cars were stolen from a Gold Coast home last night as the unaware owners slept inside. 

Four opulent cars were driven out of the riverfront garage at a Surfers Paradise home about 3am today in a haul estimated to be worth about $600,000.

The most expensive, a grey 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo, is priced over $400,000.

The other three cars, a 2019 blue Porsche Cayenne, a 2020 grey Mercedes-Benz sedan and a black 2015 Mercedes-Benz c250, are estimated to total over $200,000

The cars were stolen from the riverfront Admiralty Drive home after the thieves, who remain on the run, snuck inside and stole the four sets of car keys.

The Ferrari was dumped in the carpark at Logan Hyperdome more than an hour later and several people were spotted jumping from the luxury car into the waiting stolen Porsche

about 4.40am.

The Porsche was also found dumped on Spruce St, Loganlea, later this morning.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the significant haul and no one has been taken into custody.
