Police have released CCTV footage of the moment two men, one armed with a gun, stormed into a north Brisbane pub last week.
The footage shows the pair, both with their faces covered, sneak down the outside of the venue and point a gun at a female staff member.
According to police, the men would later use the gun to strike the woman in the head, resulting in bruising to her face.
The terrifying ordeal happened about 3am on Friday May 28 at the Bonny View Hotel on Griffith St, Bald Hills.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Martin Ziebarth, Officer in Charge of Carseldine’s Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), said the armed robbery was significant due to its very violent nature.
“This armed robbery was very violent in nature and we’re very keen to resolve it as soon as possible,” he said.
“We request that people don’t approach these persons if they know who they are, and to instead contact police immediately.”
Police are continuing their manhunt for the pair, who were last seen fleeing from the venue along Gympie Rd.
They were headed in the direction of Wakefield St, police say.
Both men had their heads and face covered and wore long sleeve tops and long trousers.
One of the men is described as about 170cm tall, of dark complexion, aged around 30 and possibly with a New Zealand accent.
The other man was aged 20-30, caucasian with a proportionate build.
Anyone with information that can assist with this investigation is urged to contact police.
