Police are searching for a group of alleged arsonists after six cars were destroyed and a building was damaged at a car yard south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to a car yard at Veronica Street, Capalaba about 2am to reports a shed and a number of cars were on fire.
Police allege a number of people entered the property and set a number of cars on fire before fleeing.
Six cars were destroyed and there was minor damage to the building. Police are investigating the circumstances around the fire.
There were no patients at the scene but Queensland Ambulance attended to assist the Queensland Fire Department.
The fire was extinguished by 2.45am but crews stayed dampening hotspots until about 3.45am.
