A third man has been charged in relation to a shooting in Brisbane Saturday night after a manhunt lasting more than 24 hours.

A third man has been charged in relation to a shooting in Brisbane Saturday night after a manhunt lasting more than 24 hours.

About 10.40pm on Saturday, police responded to reports of pellet shots fired in the city, with footage showing the moment a group of people huddled inside a kebab shop shortly after several shots were fired.

A 22-year-old man from Goodna has been charged with 16 offences after he was arrested at a property in Darra on Monday, including four counts of attempted murder, three counts of intended to maim/disfigure/disable, three counts of wounding, one each of unlawful use of motor vehicle, discharge of weapon in public, place unlawful possession of weapon, dangerous conduct of weapon, arson and possess dangerous drugs.

Police bail was refused and he is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

A 20-year-old and a 19-year-old were arrested and charged on Sunday with 30 offences including attempted murder over what police called a “targeted attack.

Those two appeared in Brisbane Arrests court on Monday. The 19-year-old’s case was adjourned and he is expected to appear in court on Tuesday with a possible bail application.

While no bail application was made for the 20-year-old and it has been adjourned for a committal call over on February 26.

The 19-year-old had been charged with three counts of intended to maim/disfigure/disable, one count of arson of a motor vehicle, four counts of attempted murder, one count of dangerous conduct of a weapon, one count of discharge in a public place and one count of unlawful possession of weapons category D/H/R weapon - firearm used to commit indictable offence.

The 20-year-old had been charged with three counts of intended to maim/disfigure/disable, one count of arson of a motor vehicle, four counts of attempted murder, one count of breach of bail condition and one count of dangerous conduct with a weapon.

Frightening footage obtained by 9 News, shows the moment a group of people huddled inside a kebab shop shortly after several shots were fired.

A food delivery driver is among those huddled in the shop, just seconds after he had abandoned his scooter on the side of the road.

About 10.40pm on Saturday, police responded to reports of pellet shots fired in the city.

At around 11pm two young women walked into the Sheraton Hotel on Mary St in Brisbane’s CBD and asked for help. They had injuries to their legs that appeared to be from bullets.

A female in her 20s and another in her late teens were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with leg wounds.

Around the same time, a young man walked into the Fortitude Valley police station with similar injuries.

The man, aged in his 30s, suffered chest and leg wounds and was also taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The manager of a kebab shop that got shot at has detailed the terrifying moment staff ran to save their lives.

Turquoise Kebab and Pizza manager Shaban Kousa said they had customers in the shop ordering pizzas and kebabs when a car came out of nowhere and started shooting.

“The car drove past and starting shooting, there were customers inside the shop,” he said.

“Some of our customers got hurt but not seriously hurt.

“We all started running inside (to the back of the shop), with all the customers inside the shop.

“Once the car went past, then the police came and the police interviewed us.”

Mr Kousa said the staff were back at work on Sunday after the frightening experience.

“It’s been pretty terrifying for the staff but they’re going good today,” he said.

Assistant Regional Crime Coordinator Detective Acting Inspector, Michael Hogan, said police were called to a shooting incident at around 11pm along Mary Street in Brisbane City on Saturday night.

“A vehicle containing three men attended that location where they confronted a male that was known to them,” he said.

Det Acting Insp Hogan then detailed what police will be alleging took place.

“These men have been armed with a firearm, they’ve discharged that firearm, which has resulted in three people receiving injuries that we will consider non life threatening,” he alleged.

“The males left that location in that vehicle. They’ve travelled to a location in Darra where they have lit the vehicle on fire and then they’ve left that location.

“A short time later, police have apprehended and arrested two male persons.”

Shooting incident in Brisbane City

Det Acting Insp Hogan said police believe the incident was a targeted attack and the motivation for the incident is currently being investigated.

“It was a very targeted attack on one individual. The motivation will probably become clearer over the next few days for the investigation. But at this stage and the reason for the actual attack we don’t know,” he alleged.

Det Insp Hogan said there is no evidence to suggest the incident is gang related and there was no connection to the Sheraton Hotel.

It is understood the two women were not known to the three men police allege were involved.

The Dog Squad, Polair and SERT officers helped local police track down two people in Darra and recovered one firearm, police said.

Polair footage shows part of the police pursuit, a car up in flames and police arresting one of the alleged offenders.

Detective Acting Inspector Michael Hogan had on Sunday it was understood two shots were fired, and investigators believed they had found the firearm used in the shooting.

Det Act Insp Hogan said it was concerning for such a brazen incident to occur – but it was not a random attack.

“There’s really no need for the rest of the public to be concerned about their welfare,” he said.

The incident was one of three unrelated shootings in Queensland overnight Saturday.

In Morayfield, a woman was shot dead at a unit complex, while in Townsville, police shot a man dead at Mount Louisa.
