Brisbane road rage terror: Motorist accused of deliberately hitting man with car
Bystanders have jumped in to stop a driver who allegedly ran down another man during a road rage incident on a busy Brisbane road.

Good Samaritans have bravely stepped in to stop a man accused of deliberately driving his car at another man during an act of road rage on Brisbane’s northside.
A 53-year-old Coolum Beach man was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm after he allegedly ran down a 36-year-old Brisbane man during an incident on the Southern Cross Way northbound at Northgate about 2.15pm on Wednesday.
Police allege the pair pulled over their cars - a red 2012 Renault Megane and 2008 green Holden Commodore sedan - and the 36-year-old exited his vehicle and approached the other driver.
After a short conversation the 53-year-old allegedly ran down the other man.
Members of the public stopped to help the injured man before preventing the 53-year-old man from leaving the scene.
The younger man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the 53-year-old man who has since been granted bail. He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 29.
