An award-winning beauty industry figure has been charged with sexually assaulting a fourth employee allegedly at work.
The Brisbane man, who can’t be identified for legal reasons, faced Brisbane Magistrates Court today on two counts of sexual assaults.
The court heard the two charges related to one alleged victim.
Police will allege the man allegedly unlawfully and indecently assaulted the woman in April 2016 and on an unknown date between June 2017 and June 2018 at his business in Brisbane.
The man, aged in his 40s, was previously charged with three counts of sexual assault relating to three different women he employed between 2013 and 2019.
Police will allege two of the assaults occurred at his workplace and another at a nightclub in Fortitude Valley.
According to court documents one of the women attended Mr Mista nightclub with work colleagues, including the man, for drinks in August 2019.
While on the dancefloor the man is accused of coming up behind her and reaching under her top grabbing her breast over the bra and squeezing.
It’s alleged in the documents that he said “do you like that” and “how’s your bathroom routine”.
In a separate incident it’s alleged that in February of that year the man approached an employee and pretended to thrust up against her from behind while placing hands up against her neck.
According to court documents the man unlawfully and indecently assaulted another employee on an unknown date January and November 2013 at the workplace.
Magistrate Michael Quinn today granted the man bail on the fresh complaints with a condition he not contact the alleged victim.
The man did not comment outside court.
The matter is expected to return to court next month for mention.
