A five-year-old girl has been found safe and well after police issued an amber alert amid concerns for her safety.

Police have located the five-year-old girl who was last night missing and the subject of an Amber Alert.

She was found safe and well this morning.

However a police investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to call 131564.
