Harvey Weinstein said in email that Jennifer Aniston ‘should be killed’

Explosive new emails have revealed how the convicted rapist reacted to news that the Hollywood darling had claimed he assaulted her.

Worst of Weinstein: the trial so far

Explosive new emails have revealed that disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein suggested superstar Jennifer Aniston “should be killed” when he found out she had claimed he sexually assaulted her.

As Weinstein prepares to learn how long he will spend in jail after being convicted of rape, new court papers reveal he learned that the National Enquirer intended to publish allegations that he assaulted Aniston during the production of the 2005 movie Derailed.

“Not sure if you saw this one. Jennifer Aniston,” said Sitrick public relations company executive Sallie Hofmeister in an email she forwarded to Weinstein from the Enquirer.

In its email, the Enquirer said that “Jennifer confided to a friend that during the production of the 2005 movie ‘Derailed’ Weinstein sexually assaulted her by pressing up against her back in [sic] grabbing her buttocks.”

The Enquirer also said, “Through the years he would frequently stare at her cleavage/breast and move his mouth around making Jennifer uncomfortable.”

“We also quote a source close to Jennifer who tells the Enquirer: ‘Harvey was infatuated with Jennifer Aniston — He had a massive crush on her and constantly talked about how hot she was’.”

The court papers show Weinstein stewed over the email for about 45 minutes before replying to Hofmeister: “Jen Aniston should be killed.”

A representative for Aniston later said the Enquirer claims were wrong. “The National Enquirer claims are false. Jennifer has not been harassed or assaulted by Harvey.”

Other emails show his brother and former business partner Bob Weinstein was so disgusted by the many sexual assault claims that he told Harvey he hoped he would end up in hell.

“F–k u Harvey Weinstein. I pray there is a real hell. That’s where u belong,” Bob Weinstein wrote on November 2, 2017.

The emails were filed in court in New York under seal by Weinstein’s defence lawyers in a bid to prevent prosecutors from using them against him at his trial.

They were made public ahead of his scheduled sentencing Wednesday local time for raping a hairdresser and forcibly performing oral sex on a former Project Runway production assistant.

He faces up to 29 years in jail, although his lawyers have said he will “not even outlive that term” if he is given more than five years.

Lawyers for the 67-year-old sexual abuser filed legal documents this week claiming a prison term longer than five years would essentially be “a de facto life sentence.”

“The grave reality is that Mr Weinstein may not even outlive that term,” the lawyers wrote in a letter to New York Supreme Court Justice James Burke.

WEINSTEIN ‘CONCUSSED’ IN JAIL

Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein has fallen over in jail and believes he has concussion as he suffers from “pounding” headaches ahead of his rape conviction sentencing this week.

Weinstein is locked in a cell with two other prisoners on New York’s notorious Rikers Island, which authorities are planning to shut down because of its atrocious history of prisoner abuse.

The New York Post reports that Weinstein, who has not been allowed to use his notorious walking frame, took a bad fall this weekend and is “miserable,” his spokesman said.

The disgraced movie mogul is housed in the North Infirmary Command with two “older gentlemen,” his spokesman Juda Engelmayer said.

“He’s miserable but trying to be optimistic as best he can,” Mr Engelmayer said. “He has had a lot of time to think about his life and be humbled, but he thinks it’s going to be a long, uphill battle from here.”

Weinstein, 67, was ordered held without bail following his February 24 conviction for raping a hairstylist and forcibly performing oral sex on a former Project Runway production assistant.

“It’s a prison cell,” Mr Engelmayer said.

“It has a sink and toilet, all stainless steel and open.”

Adjusting to jail life has been especially difficult without the aid of his walker.

On Saturday night, Weinstein took a tumble after trying to walk on his own. “He fell on his head and thinks he has a concussion,” Mr Engelmayer said. “His head has been pounding since yesterday.”

Weinstein has a wheelchair but finds it difficult to use, the spokesman said. Weinstein was transferred to Rikers Island on March 5 after spending nearly two weeks at Bellevue Hospital, where he underwent a heart procedure.
