JUST call it dizzying on ice.
Boston Bruins rookie forward Seth Griffith has scored one of the goals of the NHL season during the second period of Monday night’s game against the New Jersey Devils.
Griffith blocked a shot in the defensive zone before skating up the rink and getting the better of the Devils’ Bryce Salvador and Marek Zidlicky in a scrambling contest for the puck.
He then spun around with his back to the net and shot between his own legs and those of goaltender Cory Schneider to complete a remarkable finish.
“Yeah, maybe I’ll replay it once or twice, we’ll see though,” Griffith said of watching it back.
The goal gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead and they would go on to win the game 4-2.
